Today was a great day to watch the races at Gulfstream Park. Especially for trainer Timothy Hamm, Who shipped two horses in from Tampa Bay to Run winning back to back racing getting the Trainer double. His 1st Winner Came in the Second Race was a Maiden Special Weight for 65k for 2-year-old fillies going 4 1/2 furlongs. Dayoutoftheoffice. 2-year-old fill came flying out of the Gate, Getting the lead and never looking back, winning by four lengths with Dylan Davis aboard. I look forward to seeing were this filly runs next, Timothy Hamm has a nice horse in his barn. Following that Race he Had SEA LOVER running, which was going out to keep his undefeated Career going with being 2 for 2 coming out of an Option Claimers of 75k and dropping down in 20,000 here today. He went off as the 2nd odds on favorite, He also came flying out of the Gate and holding off the heavy favorite (who finished 2nd Bahamian Prince) to victory and staying undefeated with the ending time being 55.1 going 5 furlongs over the turf. The only wrong side of this was that Timothy Hamm ended up losing him with the Michael Maker Barn Claiming him. Long shot Deo Forte Ran very well in this Race as well, finishing 3rd at 25-1. Double G racing had this Race all over with The win bet on Sea Lover. Show bet on Deo Forte as well as the exacta and Triple. That Race started to heat our Day with it only getting better and better as the Day went on. In The 5th Race we ended up Playing the 1 Fifth Title with Hector Berrios aboardhich was not our attentions going into the Race but looked real good warming up and went off at a reasonable price with winning the Race and paying 14.80 for the win and 7.00 for a place with having win place on him with the excta and Triple with Crea's Bklyn Law finishing 2nd and Dizzy Gillespie finishing 3rd. Crea's Bklyn Law ended up getting claimed in this rave by Trainer GutierrezFausto for 16,000. The Day Got even better from there with the 6th Race playing Win / Place/ Show with the 5 Pechanga trained by the Mark Casse Barn with Hector Berrios getting the daily double going off at 25 to 1 running a remarkable race and paying 55.80 to win 23.00 for show and 9.40 for the place. We thought that was it for the Day no way we can hit another great race. The 8th Race, went with 1 Maserati Man going out for the dynamic duo Micheal Yates barn with Vasquez aboard. Going around, the turn looked like he was fading out and our winning steak was over until he burst into the next level and fought back to win the Race and paying 4.40 to win with having the exacta and triple as well. The featured Race at Gulfstream today was the 9th, which was a really nice race to watch with Trainer Terri Pompay getting the win with the 3 Heiressall with Miguel Vasquez aboard scoring him his Daily double with back to back wins. Heirssall Paid 13.00 to win and 6.00 to place with the two Day by Day finishing 2nd and the 4 Violent Times finishing 3rd. The final Race of the Day was won by Cookie Cove going out for the Joseph Orseno Barn with Irad Ortiz Jr Getting the win, followed by the 10 Caffeine Rush and the 9 Platinumcents Finishing 3rd. We had the Exacta but wanted to go with a horse that had a reasonable price for finishing the nightcap, which we landed with the 11 Dotdotdash, which finished 6th. Can't win them all! What a Great Race day it was at Gulfstream to start this Great Weekend of Racing we are about to have!
